Lenten Bytes

"Whoever humbles himself will be exalted" (Mt. 23:12). In the Season of Lent, humility has the following three implications: 1. Letting go of our pride and allowing God to wash us clean (Is. 1:16). 2. Recognizing that our sacrifice does not save, only God saves (Ps. 50) 3. Accepting that salvation is not about judging the behaviour of others, but focusing on self and personal conversion to be an example (Mt. 23:1-12) for all. Lord Jesus, teach me to embrace humility for your glory. Amen. [if !supportLineBreakNewLine] [endif]
