Believers are a chosen people. God who calls and chooses us, does so out of His great love and mysterious plan. Despite their weaknesses and misguided mindset, the Lord appointed Peter as head of the Church (Mt. 16:18), and designated Paul as preacher. All of us are loved and empowered by God to be sources of His good news for others. He who sends us, is the One who provides the grace we need for the task, the love to promote the required self-confidence, and the mercy to erase our sins. Go with God. Lord Jesus, help us to respond to your call by freely choosing to invest ourselves in advancing Your eternal kingdom. Amen.
