The illuminated glory of the Lord’s resurrection shines on every episode of His journey as human on earth. His “new life” after death gives new meaning to His birth. His conquering the tomb gives confidence in His power over nature, sin and death. His light that glows in the resurrection is manifested in His transfiguration (Mk. 9:2-13).
Whenever we feel discouraged, wearied or distraught, look to the Lord who is our life. May the light and power of His resurrection give us hope, courage and strength to carry on.
Lord Jesus, Your resurrection from the dead gives us hope, and motivates us to listen to You, the beloved Son of the Father. May we seek to please You in our daily lives. Amen.
