The only certainty in this life is that we will die. Whether due to illness; accident; murder; war or other reasons, death will come. To know Jesus is to know the Father (Jn. 8:19). If we believe that we came from God (who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and will return to Him when we die, then let us live in a manner that will result in spending eternity with Him.
Lord Jesus, we acknowledge You as the source of all life and all that is good. May we truly prepare for our death, so that Your promise of eternal life will be ours. Amen.
