Easter Bytes

There will always be reasons and barriers to unity. The ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, parts of Africa and Asia, and the senseless murders in our region based on race, greed or power, all make it hard to believe that we are children of a loving Father.

No matter our age or stage in life; the state of our health or status; the colour of our skin or culture, every believer can imitate the example of our Lord by the prayers we offer for unity (Jn 17:20-26) and peace in our world. Pray without ceasing to be one in the Lord.

Triune God, You created us to glorify Your name and to live as a people who imitate Your undivided unity. May our prayer and actions cultivate peace and harmony in our world. Amen.

Blessings,

Fr. Howie
