As the Lord “protected” and “guarded” the Apostles so that “none of them was lost” (Jn. 17:12), so too we are called to be ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, protecting the people, plants, animals and environment for our survival and God’s glory. Everyone and everything are gifts from God. We are stewards, empowered to ‘save’ all the Lord places in our lives.
Loving Father, You created and saw that everything was good. May our love for You be evidenced by the choices we make to preserve all life to the praise of Your name. Amen.
