What do people desire when they encounter Christians? Anyone can say kind words and do good deeds. These are not primarily what is sought by non-Christians. What they are looking for in Christians is for us to show them Jesus.
This can only happen when we are so united with the Lord, that His words and ways shine through our daily lives. Jesus could reveal the Father to Philip because of His union with Him (Jn. 14:8). We can reveal the Lord when we remain in Him.
Lord Jesus, as You have shown us the Father, empower us with Your Spirit to reveal You to all in our lives. May the light of Your love and the radiance of Your mercy draw all to You. Amen.
