Easter Bytes

When faced with decisions in life, do we react spontaneously or do we take time to reflect on the way forward? Spontaneity and reflection are neither good nor bad. Some people are prone to the former, others yield to the latter, while others combine the two.

We see the crowd react spontaneously to the words of Jesus and leave Him. Peter opts to reflect and chooses to stay with the Lord (Jn. 6:66-69). Whatever our inclination in making decisions in life, let it lead to peace, harmony and unity rooted in the Lord.

Lord Jesus, help us to not only listen to Your voice but also to seek understanding. May Your Spirit guide us to make the decisions that lead to life, love and unity for all. Amen.

Blessings,

Fr. Howie
