What the Lord does for us, we are to do for others. He who imparts love, mercy, kindness and goodness to those who follow Him, are empowered to share these with the people that God sends into our lives. We are to be the face and actions of God in our world.

Jesus came to reconcile us with our Father. Today’s gospel (Mt. 18:15-20) shows that the aim of difficult relationships is not only fraternal correction, but also to “win over“ the other and be reconciled. In this way, we please our ever present loving God.

Lord Jesus, You came to save us, and to be reconciled with our Father and each other. May the love, mercy and repentance we offer be acceptable in Your sight. Amen.

Blessings,

Fr. Howie
