Jesus is our great deliverer. As with the demoniacs (Mt. 8:28-34), so with us. He enters our lives to set us free from any force or experience that either enslaves or robs us of peace. It is interesting that despite liberating the two men, the town begged him to leave. The pigs and their livelihood were paramount, but for Jesus, we are His priority. Give Him thanks.
Free us O Lord from anything that keeps us in bondage. May we use the freedom we have in You to invite You daily into our lives, and to be sources of Your gospel for all. Amen.
