Since the Spirit of God dwells in us, then our bodies are temples of God (1 Cor. 3:16). It is in and through our bodies that we offer fitting praise and worship to our Lord. Therefore it is incumbent on each of us to use our bodies in ways that lead to holiness of life.

How we treat the temple of our body is to be tied to how we approach the house of God (Jn. 2:13-22). It is easy to get lost in fundraising activities; power politics in Ministry, gossip and being busy bodies. We either grow in God’s ways or get lost in the world’s vice.

Holy Spirit, help us to pray. May Your presence in our lives energise us to offer loving and true worship, and avoid anything that displeases You. May we strive to be holy as You are holy. Amen.
