Daily Bytes

One title often used of the Lord is Teacher. In the spiritual life, faith and understanding are stirred by good teaching. As Disciples of the Lord, we are His students who are called to learn. But we learn in order to become teachers (Mt. 5:17-19). Those who teach Kingdom values live on in their students, even as they anticipate eternal life in heaven.

Lord Jesus, You teach us how to live and love. May we learn our lessons well, so that we can become teachers who lead others joyfully into Your beautiful presence. Amen.
