Every Disciple who is “summoned and sent” (Mk. 6:7) represents the One in whose name and authority each individual acts. Therefore, the closer Disciples align our lives and values to those of our Lord, the more we truly become ‘good news’ for others. Ponder today how well we reveal the Lord’s love, mercy, joy, patience and kindness to all in our lives.
Lord Jesus, You call us in love to radiate Your saving presence in our daily lives. Pour Your grace upon us, so that we will be effective sources of Your light shining in our world. Amen.
