Life with our Lord is an adventure. He moves us from the ‘known’ to the ‘exciting’, in ways we never imagined. Jesus calls Simon and Andrew to move from their familiar roles of being fishermen to becoming fishers of people (Mk. 1:16-18). This provides a template for us all. We are blessed by the Lord in our current state of life, so that we can be empowered by His Spirit to do greater things for His glory and build His kingdom. Today, listen to Him.
Lord Jesus, You who knew us before we were born, have already planned our spiritual and fulfilling adventures. Help us to listen, respond and always to seek to please You. Amen.
