It must have been a frightening moment for the Disciples when the Lord sent them out to proclaim the good news, heal the sick and rely on His power (Lk. 9:1-6). Yet, by trusting in the Lord’s power, and not their own strength, they performed wonders.
Our God is all-powerful and all-knowing. When He sends each of us to be His witness, He not only knows the people and challenges we will encounter, but He equips us with all the grace we need to be effective. Today, reveal the Lord’s love and mercy to all.
Lord Jesus, You call and strengthen us to be Your agents of good news in our world. Fill us with Your Spirit, so our mission may be possible and powerful for Your glory. Amen.
