Christmas Bytes

Today, I invite you to intentionally say a prayer for our senior citizens. These may include our parents; grandparents; those who have served in and through their various vocations over the years, and those living in on old-age homes.

Our senior citizens have their own stories. They have much to share for those who choose to listen. Indeed, for those who occupy their time with prayer and reflection, like Anna in the temple (Lk. 2:36-40), the elderly have revelations to impart.

Loving Father, accept the prayers we offer to You for our senior citizens. We thank You for their ongoing journey of life, their various achievements and the many ways that they have served us and country over the years. Bless them as only You can. Amen.

Blessings,

Fr. Howie
