Christmas is almost here. By now, most of us have decorated our homes, wrapped gifts, planned our menu, established a guest list, and done all that is necessary to make this time truly joyful. It is right to do this because we are celebrating our Saviour’s birth.
Soon we will join our voices with the Angels to “Rejoice.” God who promised to show mercy to our fathers, now remembers and fulfils His holy covenant (Lk. 1:72). The sinner prepares for the Saviour, death now anticipates Life, humanity embraces Divinity. Come Lord Jesus.
Loving Father, we thank You for Your covenant of love and mercy. You who sent Your Son as our Saviour, are worthy of all glory and praise.
