Do we make the time to pray? Prayer is a conscious awareness of our God, an act that connects us to the eternal Source of life and love. It is a gift from the Spirit that is for our spiritual growth.
When we are faithful to prayer, three things will be evident:
1. Seeking God who is holy (Mt. 6:9) will spur us to live holy lives.
2. Learning to embrace God's will (Mt. 6:10) will yield real peace.
3. Desiring forgiveness from God (Mt. 6:12) stirs forgiving others.
Lord Jesus, may our prayer find acceptance in Your sight, and through it, may we live as effective disciples in Your hands. Amen.
